Happy October – 6 weeks to AU 2016

Only 6 more weeks (roughly) until Autodesk University 2016.  If you haven’t already registered, you should consider it.  This is three days of learning, networking and general fun.  Held again this year at the Venetian Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This year I am once again attending, and will be speaking in two sessions.  On Tuesday November 15th, from 3:00 – 4:30 PM, I will be hosting and presenting: DP15338 – Getting To Know You, A Guide to Connecting With Peers In The Autodesk Community.  This class will be an overall guide on how to connect with others through the various channels of the community of Autodesk users, employees and assorted fans around the globe.  We will discuss ways of both getting help and giving back to the community.

On Wednesday November 16th, from 1:00 – 2:30 PM, I will be Co-Presenting with fellow Expert Elite Mark Lancaster: PD15320 – Increasing The Volume with Inventor Tube & Pipe.  In this class we will present a series of more advanced tube & pipe techniques, tips and ideas for productivity. This session is almost full, so don’t wait too long.

Along with all of the classes, there will be several keynote addresses, technology previews, hands on demonstrations and labs, certification testing, networking opportunities and of course food, fun and the occasional beer or glass of wine at the Exhibit Hall.  AU is a great time, a wonderful learning experience, and a chance to connect with other people around the world who share your interests.  Where else can you find close to 10,000 CAD nerds in one place?

Look me up if you find yourself there.  I’d love to meet some of my readers….I know there are one or two of you out there.  Hope to see you there!
