Inventor Tube & Pipe Fixes

I’ve made no secret over the past year or so that I think Inventor Tube & Pipe needs a major overhaul.  If you are not already familiar with it, the Autodesk Community has forums called the Idea Stations.  In the Inventor Idea Station, I and others have placed several Idea posts for Tube & Pipe modifications and improvements.  The way that these Ideas get promoted to Autodesk for consideration is through the “Kudos” system.  Essentially, readers vote on the ideas they think have merit.  The more votes, the more attention the idea gets form Autodesk developers.

I am inviting all of my readers, wherever you may be, to visit the Inventor Idea Station, and give Kudos to any of the Tube & Pipe Ideas you find.  here are some of the most prominent ones:

Tube & Pipe Branching

Tube & Pipe Constraints

Reducers in Tube & Pipe

Tube & Pipe Overhaul

Routing Idea

Editing Across Assemblies

Copying & Replacing Pipe Line (rant alert)

There are MANY more.  Since you cannot yet search inside the Idea Stations, go to the main forums page, or really ANY forums page and use the “Search Community” window at the top.

Type in Tube & Pipe and hit enter.  When the results come up, narrow your search by selecting “Ideas” in the check boxes to the left.

search2What you will get is a list of all Inventor Ideas containing mentions of Tube & Pipe.  Kudo as many as you see as worthy.  There is strength in numbers.

Thanks!  And as always…
